As Marketing Communications Manager for Clarity Medical Systems, my role was to oversee all of the downstream marketing functions for the company. I worked closely with our creative and PR agencies to ensure our messaging was consistent and accurate through all forms of communications.
Being in start-up and product launch mode, we were always looking for ways to maximize our budget. Working with our VP of Marketing, we identified our expenditures for social media as a focus for savings. My strategy was to bring all of our social media efforts in-house and refocus content to promote our aggressive tradeshow schedule, in addition to mirroring press coverage. The results were immediate with a 35% jump in engagement and a 15% increase of incoming leads from our website.
I further put my agency skills to work by launching email marketing efforts through Salesforce and Campaign Monitor. Campaigns were customized for each salesperson with results being reported to both sales and executive staff.
One of the larger projects I managed was the revamping of Clarity’s corporate websites. Clarity had recently sold a product line and had maintained a separate site for its new product. Consolidating both sites into a new and refreshed site was a priority. I worked closely with our creative agency to keep development on-track and redirect relevant product traffic to our new site. We managed to overhaul the Clarity web properties within 5 weeks.
